| In a weaving textile enterprise, a loom information management system can be used to improve the managing efficiency, reduce cost, and help manager to learn the status of running looms in detail.In domestic weaving textile enterprises, there are so many different types of looms working, which makes it difficult to create a uniform system of the loom information management. In this thesis, based on the research of the interface between jacquards and looms, a method to embed a card in the interface between loom and jacquard is proposed. The card can be used to capture the real-time running data of different kinds of looms. The data captured by the card are transferred through TCP/IP network to a server. A program running on the server buffers those data and writes them into a specified database. A front interface program is designed, which can be used to show the status of looms and provides some ways to obtain the statistics results. The main works of the thesis are listed below.1. A way to embed a card into the interface between jacquards and looms is proposed. Because the interface is almost universal, the difference among different kinds of looms can be ignored.2. A design of the card is present based on ARM Cortex M3. The microchip unit (MCU) m3 is the main processor of the card. The peripheral module is designed in the thesis. The printed circuit board (PCB) is also designed and tested.3. A program running on the server is developed, which buffers all data coming from all cards. Further, the program re-organizes those data and writes them into the database. A program running at the client is developed, which shows the status of all looms, so that the manager can know how those looms are working, and get several statistics resultsThe information system is applied by Hisun Group. The result shows that the system can fit the requirements of the enterprise. |
