In the current background of global energy shortage, the countries of the world make every effort to explore new oil filed. Because of abundant oil resources in the middle east, drilling rig manufactures at home and abroad are devoted to develop drilling rig for desert. Then how to advance transportability of drilling rig, shorten moving time and decrease moving cost, developing quick-carrying drilling rig for desert will be an important content of petroleum drilling rig industry. The design of mast and substructure and structure analysis are important subject in petroleum mechanic industry. In order to solve those problems existed in the desert that it is difficult to move, install and uninstall due to many auxiliary attachments and transportation modules,. This paper design a suit of 7000 meter large trailer-mounted drill rig for desert whose mast and substructure are lifted by cylinders, and calculate and analyze for mast and substructure by finite element analysis software------SAFI, And design a scheme to solve structure problem for mast trailer and main trailer of whole transportation of mast and substructure and lifting and lowering in the deep well.Based on the thorough investigation and survey on development present situation of petroleum drilling rig industry at home and abroad, this paper introduces types, structure and performance character of present drilling rig, and explains development trend and research goal and significance of quick-carrying and hydraulic lifting drilling rig.To introduce the types and load of mast and substructure at present.Based on technical agreement and client’s related requirements to confirm whole scheme of mast and substructure and to plan rationally for whole structure and to use professional analysis software SAFI to 3D modeling in the computer. And then with SAFI simulation on kinds of condition for model on the basis of regulation on API SPEC 4F-2013, the fourth edition and separately calculate stress on condition 1, condition 2, predicted condition, unpredicted condition, lifting condition of mast and lifting condition of substructure.Confirm hydraulic lifting for the drilling rig, and modeling mast and substructure to get thrust curve graph using SAFI,so model selections, and then in accordance with related specification to check calculation stability for the mast and substructure.Confirm scheme on 7000 meter quick-carry drilling rig and design particularly transportation plan on mast and substructure. Based on design, this paper summarizes performance character and of 7000 meter quick-carry drilling rig and looks forward to its prospect.
