Ocean is one kind of important water resources. China has a long coastline of 18000 km and claim to almost 3 million-square-mile sea. The broad sea area takes great opportunity to the improvement of marine. Reasonable detection of the huge marine resources, Real time monitoring of the marine environment, accurately grasp of marine information. It is the basis of marine economic developments.As an important device in detecting of water pollution and providing accurate, timely, comprehensive scientific basis, Water quality measuring instrument has an significant meaning in protecting and safely detecting water resources. After decades improvement, water quality measuring instrument changing to Miniaturizat-ion, intelligentization, integration. Water quality measuring instrument originated early,and it has been widely used, by contrast,domestic relatively developed lately. But in recent years developed fast, and has been used more.Off-shore walk-in water sampling and monitoring platform proposed by this article, could achieve water quality monitoring automation system. Will be helpful to the implementation of automatic monitoring and management of important monitoring unit or object. Achieved prevention first, and discovery timely. The hardware system is consist of unmanned walk-in monitoring platform and shore-based station control center, The software system is consisted of wireless communication software and control software. The unmanned walk-in monitoring platform can realize autonomous navigation、autonomous sampling and examination、self-diagnosis、transmit the online detected water information to the shore-based station in a real time. The shore-based station can analysis the data by experimental method such as COD、BOD、nutrient which can’t be coped with on the mobile platform. The software is written by Lab VIEW.
