In recent years,China’s oil and gas exploration obtains vigorous development, large quantities of oil and gas wells have been mined, but also a variety of complex well conditions have emerged one after another. Cementing is a very important link in the process of oil and gas well production, the cementing quality largely affects on the production of the wells. Currently rotary liner cementing technology is widely used at home and abroad, however rotary liner hanger bearing is a vulnerable part of the cementing tools. The bearing life currently used is less than 20 h, which seriously affects the quality of cementing efficiency and quality.One of the main causes that leads to this situation is the overweight load during well cementation which causes the hanger bearing roller to have a serious edge effect, causing the roller premature fragmentation and the bearing failure.Aiming at this problem, this paper adopts the scheme of roller modification to improve bearing and the rotary liner hanger in order to increase life expectancy. The concrete work content and the conclusion are as follows.1 This article has carried the analysis on roller fragmentation mechanism of hanger bearing. The serious "edge effect" is the main cause of failure, which can be improved by roller modification.2 This article improved the classic cylindrical roller shape modification theory.The transformation scheme how will the classic cylindrical roller modification theory is applied in the modification of tapered roller has been put forward. This article presents the best crown solution of intersection bus modification, cutting bus modification and convex bus modification which improves the efficiency and accuracy of modification.Combining the geometric characteristics of tapered roller, the classic cylindrical Lundberg logarithmic curve has been improved to be a continuous modification curve.3 Hanger roller bearing busbar modification models have been established using the improved bus modification theory, and the roller improved have been analyzed and calculated by using FEM. This article compares the modification models and get the best,in which the maximum contact stress relative to the modification before was reduced by 33.71%, the maximum equivalent stress reduced by 48.73%.4 Sample interpolation fitting method is proposed for structural parameters optimization for deep cavity roller. The best modification hollow shape and depth of deep cavity roller have been determined, in which the maximum contact stress reduced 27.80%, the maximum equivalent stress reduces the 37.00%. The best cavity roller has been comprehensively compared with the improved logarithmic curve busbar,and the enterprise can choose either according their requirement.5 Parameter-driven automatic modeling function for Busbar modification rollers and deep cavity modification rollers have been achieved through re-development of Solid Works. The roller modification theory of rotary liner hanger bearing has been studied in this paper,which has improved the mechanical property of the roller, and further raised the service life of the bearing, then increased the performance of rotary liner hanger.
