The transmission structure of movable roller has the great advantage of gear ratio range, greater load capacity, compact structure and so on. However, it can be used popularly. The paper designs a transmission structure of movable roller which can fulfill the condition of transmission ratio and load capacity based on XKJ-480refiner. At the same time, we hope to extend application area of the transmission structure of movable roller to rubber machinery and equipment.The paper completes the following aspects:we achieve to design the size of the primary transmission mechanism of movable roller while instead osculating circle to envelope curve; we analyse the influencing rule between tooth clearance and contact load, deduce the formula between contact ratio and contact load, count the value of contact stress based on Hertz contact theory. In order to get the minimum volume of movable roller reducer, build a optimization mathematical model based on MATLAB. It need to satisfy these following conditions, such as theory of coincidence degree, allowable contact stress. Then we compare the result of optimization design; based on theory of elastohydrodynamic lubrication, we divide the isotherm lubrication state of three kinds of movable roller’s contact according to analyse the change rule of viscosity parameter and elasticity parameter between movable roller and oscillating tooth carrier、shock diffuser and ring gear. We choose the equal formula to count film thickness by isotherm lubrication state and compare the result to find out where the minimum film thickness will be and how it is. We primary definition the lubrication state by film thickness than; we consider that how the friction heat between movable roller and ring gear can impact on temperature distribution of movable roller. Meanwhile we do steady state thermal analysis by ANSYS. Then we use the hollow roller as movable roller and do steady state thermal analysis of which by ANSYS.
