Warm color paint in the warning has been widely used in detection technology,chemical anti-counterfeiting, petrochemical industry, daily decoration and other areas,but there is little research in low temperature range of color coating. Low temperature change color pigment cobalt chloride and water miscibility, but it has a poor color reversibility and compatibility of the microcapsule,and add to the stability of the emulsion was prepared in high environmental color coating is becoming a hot research spot.By selecting epoxy resin, silicone and acrylic monomers as the raw material epoxy acrylic resin was synthesized using the monomer droplets and emulsion polymerization. Under the condition that polymerization temperature is 80℃,the ratio of oil/water is 0.8,the ratio of soft monomer and hard monomer is 1:0.8,acrylate accounts for 4% of the total amount of monomer oily epoxy resin is 5%,organic silicon is 10%,the dosage of emulsifier OP-10 and SLS with the ratio of 2:1 is3.5%,the initiator is 0.6%, the electrolyte is 0.45%,the synthetic latex solid content is43.63%.Infrared spectrum analysis showed that the effective copolymerization reaction occurred between all kinds of monomers. Emulsion and film properties test accord with national standard GB/T20623-2006 standard for architectural coatings with emulsion. Using complex phase emulsion phase separation process with water as dispersion medium, on gelatin and poly(vinyl alcohol) ratio of 3:1, core-shell ratio of2:1, dissolve Co Cl2 water requirement for 7g, cobalt chloride aqueous solution of gelatin concentration of 7%, the volume of solvent emulsion of 10 g, mixing within 1h, evaporation for 1.5h under 40/50℃, make discoloration sensitive microcapsule discoloration by the suction filter, with change color for 42 s under 41℃.Experiment with organic silicone modified epoxy acrylic emulsion as based paint, adding cobalt chloride microcapsules and alumina, talcum powder, sericite powder and light calcium carbonate as the filler, under the condition that the water content is 20%, the ratio of fillers and binders is 2.8, color pigment content is 19.37%, scatter the packingfor 30 min after grinding for 1.5h, when the coating thickness is about 80 um, high stable water-based silicone modified epoxy acrylic low-temperature reversible color coating is prepared in accordance with the performance of color coating, water-based reversible color change under 41℃ discolouration of the paint for 60 s.Experiment of emulsion, cobalt chloride preparation of microcapsules and coating are based on water to disperse, achieved good environmental performance.Cobalt chloride microcapsules in low temperature range has good discoloration reversibility, scattered in the stability of the emulsion was prepared in high low-temperature reversible color coating.
