The Measures Of China Eco-efficiency And Analysis Of Its Influence Factors

The rapid development of society and economy, to the country’s resources and environment have brought no small burden. Today, China’s ecological environment is facing a severe test, strengthen the construction of ecological civilization is an important task in the social and economic development. Making the quantitative analysis of the current situation of ecological civilization construction,it can clear the specific situation of current ecological construction, it is desirable to provide an effective reference for future ecological construction. This paper will be based on the features of ecological construction and the availability of data, and select the appropriate indicators, and applies DEA-Malmquist index to evaluate the eco-efficiency of provinces in China from 2008 to2012. The results show that, ecological construction work on our country have achieved good results overall, but some cities still need to improve eco-efficiency. As a whole, the improvement of eco-efficiency of China’s most provinces mainly depends on technological progress, management of ecological construction lack of efficiency, ecological construction related management system still needs to improve.The paper is based on eco-efficiency measure, select appropriate indicators, applies Tobit model to analyse the influencing factors of eco-efficiency. The results show that,the selected indicators affect on the eco-efficiency of our country in varying degrees and in different directions. In addition, the paper also analyse the influencing factors of eco-efficiency of some provinces that in recent years has been in progress for eco-efficiency,it is expected to draw inspiration beneficial ecological construction in China. Finally, the paper put forward policy proposals on ecological construction.
