There are flows of material, energy, and information between land use and environment, and both interact with each other. Thus, more and more international scholars try to couple land use and environment to conduct ecological fragility assessment. Moreover, with the further development and innovation on the fragile ecology research, the study object has shift from focus on natural ecological system to social human and land system. The research of human-land relationship has been a hot topic in recent years, and the construction of eco-friendly city has become important target for the sustainable development of the city. At the same time, Changchun serves as an important industrial city in the Northeast of China. It is expected that ecological environment protection and the sustainable development of resources in Changchun directly matter for the revitalization of northeast old industrial bases. Government plan to implement the strategy of Changjitu integration, which aims to make Changchun to be a technologically advanced and comprehensive service city. In this thesis, I choose the urban center of Changchun as study area to examine ecological fragility assessment according to the “Changchun overall urban planning(2010-2020)”. A total of 17 evaluation indexes were used to evaluate research area’s ecological vulnerability before and after the implementation, including natural, environment, economic, and sociology factors. Firstly, I performed the principal component analysis and determined the weight of each index in SPSS. Then, I calculated the eco-environment vulnerability index, and quantified the degree of vulnerability in research area and vulnerability changes after plan implementation. Combined with land use planning, I analyzed ecological vulnerability for various types of land use, functional areas, and regions with different development intensity.The main results included:(1) The ecological vulnerability of Changchun will be improved by 2020 after the planning. The overall fragile degree is reduced, but Kuancheng district still belongs to severe fragile area, the remaining districts are in moderate vulnerable area;(2) The ecological vulnerability will be reduced after planning, but ecological environment is also under the moderate vulnerability and heavy fragile, so we should strengthen the relevant protective measures in order to maintain the ecological environment after planning implementation;(3) To ensure that ecological vulnerability can be reduced and ecological environmental quality can be further improved, I offer some environmental protection measures for different land use types, functional areas and development zones. This paper not only propose important approaches to ensure the implementation of these measures, but also provide some reference for the ecological environment protection of urban land use.
