Sodium tripolyphosphate once is regarded as the best sodium tripolyphosphate. However, with the constant generation of environment problems, the policy of limiting phosphorus has been carried out around the world. Thus, it is urgent to invent and promote the phosphate-free detergent. Moreover, with the improvement of people’s living standard, customers’ demands also tend to be diversification. This thesis focus on the invention of a new detergent formulation. Through the compounding of phosphate-free and surfactant and tests on its performance so as to ascertain the formulation of dish washing detergent, intending to realize the effect of phosphate-free, efficiency and concentration.The first design for such formulation is as follow: by using the sodium citrate as phosphate-free builder instead of sodium tripolyphosphate, as well as compounding the two kinds surfactant: fatty alcohol polyxyethylene ether sodium sulfate(AES), coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide(6501) and sulfonic acid in different percentage, different samples generate. Through the analysis on the tability, p H,foam properties and viscosity of different samples, the best percentage for the mixture of the surfactant and the sulfonic acid could be found. In addition, citric acid has anti-bacterium and deodorant function, which would neutralize the smelling cased by sulphur or ammonia so as to produce non-odoriferous articles as well as eliminate microorganism with bacteria. Through such experiment, the formulation of phosphate-free detergent with the characteristics of stable, mild, hand-protecting, better foaming capacity, high viscosity, anti-bacteria and environmentally friendly.The second design for such formulation is as follow: by taking advantage of small molecule, the grease macromolecule could be eliminated, thus a reasonable and scientific percentage of surfactant, penetrating agent, phosphate-free builder, chemical deodoulant, disinfectant is fixed, such a potent immersed detergent formulation which is efficient, phosphate-free, environmental, energy conservative. Besides, manual intervention is unnecessary, the greasy dirty could be washed out in 1 to 4 minutes’ immersion without any requirements for the temperature of water. The function of sterilization and disinfection is also satisfactory.
