In order to improve the market competitiveness of cardboard paper mill, track and analysisthe application of the functional additives using in the practical production of Ji’an groupCo.,Ltd, explore the suitable technology of its functional additives. The major function additivestracked are: paper filler, dry strength agent, surface sizing agent and aluminum sulfate alternate.The new techniques used in cardboard paper mill are also discussed.Adding paper filler tests were carried out during the production of the coated duplex board.For the ordinary coated duplex board of140g/m2quantitative, adding200kg/t paper filler,cosists of184kg/t calcium carbonate(GCC),10kg/t talcum powder,5kg/t bentonite and1kg/tultramicron were proved to be a suitable craft. Replace low percentage of GCC with PCC canadjust the property of the product when manufacture the heighten coated duplex board.In the technology of adding strength additive during the production of the kraft test liner,the top layer, center layer and the bottom layer have add15kg/t cationic starch. In the test, using0~15kg/t polyacrylamide series dry strength agent (PAM) replace cationic starch in the centerlayer and bottom layer. The intensity of paper improves with the increase of PAM. When theaddition of PAM reaches8kg/t, the intensity of paper achieves the level of the original craft. Theanionic trash in the white water of center layer and bottom layer reduced slightly after thereplacement, and the machine also runs more smoothly.In the technology of adding strength additive during the production of the coated duplexboard, using the styrene acrylic ester copolymer (amphoteric styrene acrylic surface sizing agent)replace the acrylate polymers (cationic surface sizing agent) in the top layer, and the bottomlayer maintain the original craft. The value of water uptake shows that the aging time ofamphoteric styrene acrylic surface sizing agent is longer than the cationic surface sizing agent,but the sizing performance is more stable. The sizing performances are similar when the cationicsurface sizing agent has not occur the reversion. he styrene acrylic ester copolymer has no needof aluminum sulfate for surface sizing.Use300ppm aluminum sulfate alternate replace25%aluminum sulfate using in the system during the production of the kraft test liner, the concentration of SO42-in the white water of thecenter layer and bottom layer decrease obviously, the value of PCD and the specific conductancedecline too. The ability of catching anionic trash of the alternate is proved to be better than thealuminum sulfate.The technological innovation of chemical dilution water saving equipment, high-pressurecleaning equipment for felt and vacuum coucher seal are new water-saving technology at present.The technological innovation of water jet turn-up system improves the efficiency of machine andreduce the spool loss. The technological innovation of the triple press and the membrane transfersizing can reduce the steam consumption and increase economic benefits. The software of rawmaterial proportioning calculation can realize find out the proportion of the raw material underthe minimum costing, and guide the production.
