The stealth coatings is one of current research focus of stealth technology, which has theadvantages of processing simple and low-cost. The research of the visible-near infraredcamouflage paint has mature, but it does not meet infrared stealth requirements in thewavelength of8-14μm, seriously impact the individual’s combat capability and survival ability.Therefore, the topic study different colors of stealth coating and apply it in the textile fabric.Low emissivity coating was prepared through studying the type and content of adhesive,metallic pigment particle size, morphology and content and coating thickness on the influenceof the emissivity of printed fabric, and by adding different types of pigments obtain differentshade of camouflage coatings, studying the type and content of pigment in the influence ofprinted fabric emissivity. The printed fabric are characterized by using infrared spectrum,emittance instrument, SEM, ultraviolet/near infrared spectrophotometer, thermal infraredimager.The results showed that as follows:(1)When the thermal crosslinking acrylic copolymer wasused as adhesive, flake aluminum powder as a metallic pigment,25%of adhesive,25%of flakealuminum, printing thickness of25to35microns, the printed polyester/cotton blended fabrichas low emissivity of0.587and good performance;(2) Through adding B706titanium dioxidepigment or add a little carbon black pigment on the basis of low emissivity coating can makedifferent colors of grey paint depth; infrared emissivity of printed fabric with10%of B706oxidation dioxide is0.647in the infrared band8-14μm; on the basis of the low emissivitycoating add15%of B706oxidation dioxide and0.5%of carbon black, printedfabric infrared emissivity is0.714; at the same time, these two kinds of fabric havegood reflectivity in the visible-near infrared wave band, can simulate gray background, such as the gray cliffs、bark,etc.;(3) Different colors of stealth printed fabric can be made byadding iron oxide brown and yellow iron oxide pigments on the basis of low emissivitycoating,10%of flake aluminum,25%of binder,15%of total pigment with the quality of ironoxide yellow and iron oxide brown than for the3:1,2:1,3:2,1:1. The printed fabric not onlyhas good stealth effect in visible-near infrared band and simulate many kinds ofbackground, such as sand, dry soil, bark and clay, but also has the lowest emissivity rate of upto0.73.
