Flower-like polyaniline (PANI) microspheres was successfully synthesized by chemicaloxidative polymerization of aniline in the mixture solution of H2O and ethanediol, usingtoluene-p-sulfonic acid (p-TSA) as a doping. The effect of the solution, p-TSA, and reactiontime on morphology of the polyaniline was investigated in detail. The diameters ofpolyaniline microspheres was about8μm, which had been prepared at a4:6volume ratio ofethanediol to H2O,0.430g p-TSA, and24h polymerization time. Moreover, the emissivityproperties of random and flower-like PANI architectures were investigated, indicating thatmorphology of the PANI has a small effect on the infrared emissivity.Regular shape and controllable diameters of ZnO, on which the effect of reaction time, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), and zinc acetate was investigated in detail, was successfullyprepared by chemical bath deposition method. It showed that the zinc acetate has a visibleeffect on the morphology of ZnO. And different diameters and morphologies of ZnO wereprepared with a certain amount of zinc acetate, such as rod, hexagonal prism and disk.Besides, the emissivity properties of ZnO were investigated, indicating that morphology ofthe ZnO has a little effect on the infrared emissivity. The effects of the type of Cu and amount of Cu, diluent ethyl acetate, leveling agentBYK358N and antifoaming agent BYK066N on infrared emissivity for coating wereinvestigated in detail. The results indicated that the contents of Cu and ethyl acetate hadevident effects on the infrared emissivity of the coating, the infrared emissivity was lowerwith1510A Cu, and the infrared emissivity of coating under different diluent ethyl acetatelevels decreased firstly and increased subsequently, those of the antifoaming agent andleveling agent had weaker effects on the infrared emissivity. The lowest emissivity valuecould be as low as0.445with1510A Cu filling amount of75, ethyl acetate filling amount of 250, antifoaming agent filling amount of2.34and leveling agent filling amount of2.34,which hardness was H and adhesion was1grade.
