In chemical production, experiment,life activities and the process of oil refining, catalysts play an irreplaceable role. Base on the industry classification standard, the catalyst are divided into different types, so the catalyst preparation are also different. In the process of preparing catalyst, In order to ensure the safety of equipment operation and personnel,catalyst preparation condition monitoring and control plays a vital role. According to the domestic and foreign development present situation of the monitoring and control system, and monitoring and actual control requirements, this topic developed a monitoring and control system for the catalyst preparation with Temperature Controller, NI Compact Data Acquisition Card(NI cDAQ) and Upper machine software. The system implements control functions to monitor the key parameters of catalyst preparation,such as the flow rate and pressure of hydrogen and argon gas, nitrogen and air and the temperature of resistance furnace,to open and close the solenoid valve,to adjust temperature controller and to control the experiment processes.This paper make a analysis on the overall design requirements of the monitoring and control system. By analyzing the characteristics of the system parameters, this paper select the relevant hardware equipments and realize system integration. Upper machine software system is divided into eight modules: User login module divides users into three levels, realize the user login hierarchical management; Data acquisition module implemente to read data from the equipment on site by using different hardware and different communication protocol; Process operation module is the key to the eight modules. In this module, user can design the execution of the process of the equipment, make them in accordance with the provisions of the time interval in sequence, and can check the change of the data in the execution procession; Monitor display module introduces the design of the main control interface; Through the data storage module, the collected data information can be put in the database and TDMS files;Data query module implemente to query the history of the stored data; The fault alarm module implements the system of alarm, and alarm data storage and query; Report module implements used to check the data in the form of Excel spreadsheets.Through field debugging, the program is running smooth, user interface display well, the system implemente the relative functions of the catalyst preparation condition monitoring and control.
