With the development of modern steel structure industry, angle steel is widely used in different areas of architecture and structural engineering. Compared with using controlled rolling only, controlled rolling with controlled cooling can not only raise production’s efficiency but also improve the cooling effect to make angle steel get better integrated mechanical properties. The application and research of controlled cooling has been one of important techniques for iron and steel enterprise. The research is based on the controlled cooling process of Angle steel after rolling, and use finite element software to analyze the cooling process of the Q235 angle steel after hot rolling. Main content of the thesis:1.Based on the basic theories of heat transfer, heat conduction differential equation is analysed and initial and boundary conditions is ensured to build the finite element equation of temperature field.Using ANSYS software to build the two-dimension and three-dimension models of angle steel after hot rolling, the cooling curve and transient distributing of temperature field in different cooling times and flow-density is studied, which can get the influencing factors on the distributing of temperature.2. According to the basis theory of optimization analysis, flow-density designed as variables, final cooling temperature designed as state variables, the optimization analytical mode on the control cooling process of angle steel after hot rolling is established by using APDL language and the results before optimization are compared with the after for determining optimal scheme of angle steel after controlled cooling..3.According to the results of optimization analysis and simulative temperature fields, the coupling model on temperature field, microscopic structure and stress field coupling model is built to calculate aged the control-cooling process of angle steel in the stress/strain field, by which it is concluded that the distribution rule of stress and strain process of cooling.4.After the simulation results compared with the experimental data, the simulation results consistent with experimental data and verify the reliability of the finite element analysis. On the basis of this experiment the metallographic microscopy is analyzed by using scanning electron microscopy and setting-out of mechanical property, it is indicated that mechanical behavior of angle steel after rolling is enhanced obviously by using controlled cooling.This research can provide theoretical basis for the application of Angle steel’s controlled cooling after rolling.
