In this paper, using Q235 angel steel as the research object and ANSYS finite element analysis software to stimulate the temperature field,stress field and strain field during the angel steel controlled cooling. Through experiment to make a further study for the distribution of the structure and the mechanical properties of angel steel after controlled cooling. The main content is:1,Through analysis the initial conditions and boundary conditions of angel steel controlled cooling and giving simplify assumptions. Then establishing 2D and 3D finite element model of angel steel and research the temperature changes and the distribution of the transient temperature field on different cooling time or different cooling conditions. Identifing the reasonable water flow rate and cooling time and distribution of temperature field.2,Establish the optimum design model on the basis of ANSYS optimum design theory. Using water density and flow velocities as the design variables, end-cold temperature as the state variables, the largest temperature differece as the objective function. Identifing the best parameters of controlled cooling.3,Using the results of the temperature field after optimum design and indirect coupled method to simulate the stress and strain field. Finding out the distribution of stress and deformation of angel steel after controlled cooling.4,Through experiment to research the temperature field of angel steel and compare with the finite element simulation results to make sure that the reliability of the finite element simulation. At the same time, making measured and analysis to the structure and mechanical properties of sample angel steel. The results show that the end-cold temperature controlled between 650~700℃, the angel steel can reach a higher mechanical properties. 5,Though the technology of controlled cooling changed the structure of angel steel, increasing the pearlite and refining the organization,then improving the mechanical properties of angel steel. The research results will provide scientific guidance for controlled cooling technology.
