The pot experiment was carried out to study Sb pollution(50,100,200 mg/kg) in the soil, effects of different concentration of Se (0,1,2,5,10 mg/kg) on Sb treatment for the antioxidant enzyme activity, chlorophyll, content of element and the accumulation of Sb in maize, which will provide a scientific basis for preventing and controlling the Sb. The results showed that:(1) In Seedling stage with the increase of Sb, the activity for POD, CAT and SOD in maize leaves was decreased significantly. When added a certain amount of soil Se of three kinds of enzyme activity and a significant impact, low concentration of Selenium (< 2 mg/kg) can promote the activity of the enzyme, POD in Selenium concentration of 1 mg/kg enzyme activity achieve the best, when the Selenium was 2 mg/kg, SOD and CAT enzyme activity obtained the maximum. But in high concentration of Selenium (> 2 mg/kg),they had an inhibition effect on three kinds of enzyme activity, reduced the activity of the enzyme, the protection for plant capacity was also reduced accordingly.(2) The content of MDA can be used to measure the damage of the cell in maize leaves, and the addition of exogenous Se can significantly reduce the content of MDA, alleviate the toxicity of Sb, make a protection to the cells.(3) Compared with control groups, the more Sb in the soil, the less chlorophyll in maize leaves, and the addition of Se significantly reduces the heavy metal Sb and makes damage to the chlorophyll. Because the low concentration of Se (less than 5 mg/kg) have a strong antagonism effect to Sb, So Se can help reducing the treatment of Sb for chlorophyll in maize leaf, increasing the content of chlorophyll. But the high concentration of Se (more than 5 mg/kg) can add to the toxicity of Sb for maize, and inhibit the generation of chlorophyll.(4) Through the determination for six kinds of elements(Cu,Zn,Fe,Mn,Ca,Mg)and found that the element content in different concentration of Sb treatment were significantly lower than control groups(except for the Calcium, was higher than control), and add Se can make the content of elements higher than single Sb treatment in the maize, and when Se was 2 mg/kg, there was a maximum.But giving into a high concentration of Se still could suppress the accumulation of elements.(5) To mature the fresh weight and dry weight of maize, through the comparison of aerial part and underground part, we can see that in single Sb treatment, the higher concentration of Sb, the lower content of them. Explain toxicity of Sb can affect the growth of the maize and moisture absorption. Add Se in soil can reduce the toxicity of Sb, increase the fresh weight and dry weight of maize and significantly higher than the control groups under the single Sb treatment, but the high concentration of Se can make affect to maize too.(6)To study the Sb content in maize root, stem, grain, we can see that the Sb concentration was higher, the amount of the accumulation of Sb was higher. The Antagonism between selenium on Sb showed that reduce the content of Sb in maize. First of all, low concentration of Sb (50,100 mg/kg) with the increase of exogenous selenium concentrations, the content of Sb in root and leaves was reduced first and then rised, and when Se was 2 mg/kg,there was a minimum, it showed that the concentration of selenium was optimal concentration to inhibition the root and stem accumulate Sb; For high concentration of Sb treatment(200 mg/kg) in maize, low concentration of selenium (< 2 mg/kg) showed significant inhibitory effect for the root accumulate Sb, but high concentration of Sb could promote root absorption Sb, although added Se in the stem can make a inhibitory effect, but there was different between high and low treatment, similar treatment was not obvious; In maize kernels, with the increase of selenium concentrations, three kinds of Sb concentration processing of Sb content basic showed a trend of decline, only in the high concentration of Sb (200 mg/kg) and high concentration of selenium (10 mg/kg) under the mixed processing of Sb content increased slightly after a fall, but more than a single Sb Sb treatment of lower accumulation, has obvious differences.
