As precision machine tools rapidly develop toward high-speed, high-precision and high-flexibility, the machine tool should have features like light quality, low cost, convenience and excellent technology, besides it is emphasized that the machine tool should have an increasingly high workability. The workability of machine tool is closely related to its static and dynamic performance. Facts prove that with the improvement of workability of machine tool, the static and dynamic performance of machine tool is required more and more highly.Taking the rotary table of numerically-controlled machine tool as an example, this paper explores factors that affect the dynamic performance of rotary table of numerically-controlled machine tool. This paper mainly explores from following aspects:(1) By recognizing the slider lead-rail’s joint surface characteristic parameter through modes, revising the dynamic model of the swivel table.(2) Setting up finite element mode for numerical control machine swivel table, then making statics and dynamics analyses on it, and analyzing the swivel table’s static strength and inherent frequency.(3) Finally, making parametric model for the structure of the numerical control machine swivel table, optimizing the swivel table’s design variables, so as to get an optimum.
