Water quality monitoring is an important part of environment protection in our country, water quality condition can be acquired and water safety can be ensured by water quality monitoring. Laboratory monitoring methods have been adopted as the main and automatic monitoring method as the supplementary in China water quality monitoring, but the laboratory monitoring has the disadvantages of bad real-time performance, high labor cost and low automation degree. The study of automatic water quality monitoring starts relatively late in China, and the technologies is still at primary stage, there is a large gap between developed areas and our country. At present, automatic water quality monitoring has the problems of dispersed monitoring places, high cost of imported monitoring equipments, low information transmission rate and the installation and maintenance of domestic cable water quality monitoring equipment is difficult.In view of the above problem, the system architecture of water quality monitoring is studied in this paper, and combine the internet of things technology, embedded system technology, CDMA2000-EVDO communication technology and sensor fusion technology with water quality monitoring, an intelligent remote water quality monitoring system is designed.In this paper, the main works are as follows:1. Study and analyze the current situation of water quality monitoring at home and abroad, and consider the monitoring system for the requirements of the actual situation, presented a design scheme of an intelligent remote water quality monitoring system based on CDMA2000.2. The sample hardware of the remote water quality monitoring system is designed and produced, and separate modules of STM32, MC509 data terminal and SD card section are designed in order to facilitate debugging.3. The lower computer embedded software of the remote water quality monitoring system is designed and compiled, the μC/OS-Ⅱ RTOS and FatFs file system module are transplanted in STM32, the MC509 network communication and data collection drivers are designed.4. The application software of water quality monitoring system is designed and compiled, the water quality data can be monitored and displayed by this software.5. Analyzes the characteristics of pH sensors and study the method of sensors temperature compensation, puts forward a temperature compensation method based on surface fitting, to reduce the temperature effect on the pH measurement accuracy.The above completion works solve the technical problems of using the Internet of things and the 3G technology to monitor water quality, realize the purpose of this system design successfully. The experiments results show that the whole system has advantages of high automation degree and real-time performance, and this system has important practical reference value on water quality monitoring and other environment monitoring system.
