Movable and continuous facility in testing and draining field serves as a testing and draining apparatus in oil extraction. The equipment is mainly used for pumping liquid to the ground by mechanical lifting methods before it is time to install a pumping unit in the land wells. All kinds of the present used pumping units can’t be directly used in the testing and draining industry because of the short operational cycle time, usually for a dozen days or a month, and of the serious installation environment of the wellhead ground. The testing and draining apparatus in early China was powered by the tractor hoist, making it in the working condition of low efficiency and heavy labor intensity, so it can’t be a suitable device specified for testing and draining industry. Based on the situation, the issue aims to develop a movable and continuous facility in testing and draining field, analyze its kinetic characteristics and static performance and to testify the properties by experiments.The dissertation proposes the main design parameters of the device, according to the process requirements of the testing and draining industry. An electric roller, in which the switched reluctance motor and the cycloid gear retarder are fixed inside the roller, has been developed. The designs of the balance box, brake system and suspension system have been done. The newly designed facility gets saving system, and it possesses the advantages of low consumption of energy, low requirements for the site environment, easy installation and shift. Besides, the task of continuously testing and draining is automatically finished.Theoretical analysis, on the motion and some laws of the change in load of the polished rod, has been conducted after referring to the kinematics and statics theory of the pumping units mainly used at present. Great emphasize, on the detailed analysis on the acceleration and load of the polished rod, has been made and the calculation of a realistic example was done. The analysis indicates that the impact load of the rack exerted by the apparatus is small, resulting in much safer operation of the facility in the low-frequency stroke application.Using the finite element analysis software to check the strength of the apparatus and to optimize the structure, showing that larger Elastic Modulus of the guy line can make the apparatus satisfy the usage requirements better. At the same time, after optimization of the structure, the cross section of the main holder of the rack has decreased by 32.1% and the total height of that has decreased by 38.9%, under the condition of that the strength requirements and the capability to use the device have been satisfied.Experiments on the acceleration and load of the polished rod, in the movable and continuous facility in testing and draining field used in an oil field, have been performed. The evidence, that the difference between the experimental value and the theoretical calculation value is close, supports the validity of the theoretical analysis of the acceleration in the dissertation, which can provide reference theory for the acceleration analysis of this kind of apparatus.
