With the development of nuclear technology, the production technology and quality requirements of the high-precision cold drawn alloy tube which is used for the condenser pipe become increasingly higher. As its key production equipment, the performance of drawing machine will directly affect the quality of cold drawn steel tubes. So it’s necessary to research and implementation the drawing machines with easy operation and high precision. Taking the research and development project for a high-pressure lubrication drawing machine of an enterprise in Jiang Su as the object, this paper makes depth study and mainly completes the following work:(1) By consulting a large number of relevant literatures, this paper makes a brief description of the industry’s status quo about alloy tube. This electrical control system for high-pressure lubrication drawing machine is designed on the basis of in-depth analysis of the composition and the process of the machine equipment.(2) This paper design the drawing machine of position drawing control system and high pressure lubrication control system. The closed-loop system which is consisted of Danfoss variable-frequency drive, MCO305 motion controller, PLC and touch screen can achieve the object for positioning and stepless speed control of the drawing car. The mathematical model is established according to the theory of electro-hydraulic servo and the controller is designed based on PID algorithm for the high pressure control systems. The simulation analysis is conducted using MATLAB software to provide technical parameters for the production practice.(3) By analyzing the process and control requirements, the electrical control system of drawing machine is proposed. It includes the hardware and software. The hardware system design consists system network structure, components selection, electrical schematic drawing and so on. The software mainly consists the PLC program, position drawing program and the design of human-machine interface.The field debugging results show that the project is reasonable. This designed system is stable and easy to operate and maintain.
