With the most strip-users from low-end to high-end, more and more requirements are accordingly put forward for the plate shape quality of strip. In order to meet the needs of users and improve the shape quality of products, the iron and steel enterprises have the shape meter in the export configuration of plate mill, for the closed-loop control of the strip flatness.At the same time, by control of the investment costs, equipment space, the main objective conditions, there are a large part of mills outlet is not configured to shape meter, which can not achieve the closed-loop control of flatness. In this way, a set of virtual design technology of shape meter was put forward and developed the analysis of strip shape and the closed loop control system accordingly, without the configuration entity shape meter realizes the dynamic visual shape display and closed loop control.selecting a 1420 4-high temper mill as the research object, the thorough research is conducted on two kinds of parameters influencing shape: tempering lubricant parameters and shape parameters. The main content of the research demonstrate as follows:Firstly, Take 4-high temper mill as research object, present a set of asymmetrical structure to replace symmetrical structure, increase strip shape control method from traditional 2-dimensional symmetric roll bending(symmetric roll shifting) and roll tilting to 5-dimensional left roll bending, right roll bending, upper roll shifting, bottom roll shifting and roll tilting. On this foundation, build a set of suitable complex wave control technology for 4-high temper mill with actual strip shape and target strip shape difference minimum as the target, through strip shape control parameters left roll bending, right roll bending, upper roll shifting, bottom roll shifting and roll tilting optimization setting, effectively solve the problems of control defect on 4-high temper mill complex wave.Secondly, In allusion to small reduction, less deformation and friction heat and small roll thermal crown of temper mill, multi-zone cooling is incapable of controlling complex wave defects such as center and double edge composite wave, single rib wave, multi rib wave, center and rib composite wave, edge and rib composite wave.Shape optimization are combined with a 1420 four roller leveling unit, effectively improving the quality of strip shape.Finally, The four roller leveling unit complex design technology to control the wave shape and virtual shape meter in a 1420 unit is simulated, the effect is good,make up for the congenital lack of shape control on temper mill which is incapable of using fine control,it provides a set of new method for strip shape fine control on field temper mill, with further popularization and application value.
