Tailor Rolling Blank was a new kind of plate structure characterized by uniform variation in rolling direction thus can design distribution of thickness of the plate according to the requirements for strength and reduce weight. The use of hot stamping technology of high strength steel TRB into the design of body structure can significantly reduce body quality, in the mean time guarantee security requirements, which is beneficial to realize the goal of energy saving and emission reduction.B pillar which can be simplified as a T-stub, was an important structure of car body. Therefore mould of high strength steel molding by TRB hot stamping was designed based on T-stub. Method of mosaic block type design was adopted and profile of the mould was consistent with sheet metal, consequently make the TRB hot stamping with benefits of both excellent formability and cooling effect.Simulation work of the TRB hot stamping finite element model has been carried with software ABAQUS, factors such as geometric parameters, move of the transition region, distribution of temperature field, forging speed, dwell time, initial stamping temperature and phenomenon of resilience was considered to study their influence on TRB hot stamping was investigated. A reasonable process parameters have been obtained, and method of selecting sheet metal geometry parameters was put forward.In the last part of the work, a test platform for the TRB thermal shock forming of high strength steel was constructed and numerous data about the influence of dwell about pressure protection on tensile strength of the thick and thin area of the workplace have been collected, the influence of length of the transition zone and thickness ratio of the sheet on hot stamping formability were also studied. The results of numerical simulation was well agreed with those of experimental research based on cooling effect of the molding and analysis of rebound.
