The physical properties and aging resistance performance of aviation tire rubber material have great impact on the quality and the lifetime of aircraft tires, while it depends on the conditions of rubber vulcanization technology. The vulcanization technological conditions of aviation tire rubber have been used to meet the need of making the tire to achieve specific performance. While in the process of setting technological conditions, generally, it is tolerable to achieve some specific performance without considering the best condition.Mechanical properties test of the vulcanized rubber under different vulcanization condition has been done. We analyze and compare the results,it is found that the mechanical properties increased first and then decreased with the increase of the vulcanizing temperature; As the vulcanizing pressure increases, the mechanical properties of rubber showed increasing trend; The mechanical properties of rubber get to the best when the rubber is in the condition of vulcanization stage. At the last we get the best vulcanization conditions as 148 ℃, 3MPa cured to T96 degree of cure. The rubber under the best vulcanization technology has better performance, stronger resistance to aging, and a longer lifetime. If this rubber can be used into the aircraft, we will get tire products with better performance. By which it can also save energy and time in the process.Thermogravimetric experiment and thermal mechanical experiment are used in this paper to analyze the thermophysical properties of the vulcanized rubber specimens. We use the scanning electron microscope to observe the surface of the vulcanized rubber specimens, and also the material analysis method like XPS and MAS NMR are used to analyze the elements and chemical construction changes in the process of rubber vulcanization. It is found that unsaturated carbon reacted with the vulcanizing agent and generate C-S crosslinks in the rubber as the vulcanization reaction was found. It makes that the degree of unsaturation of the rubber drops and the crosslinking density increases. Above all, we reveal the mechanism of vulcanization of tire rubber materials and propose a microscopic explanation on the changes of physical properties of the vulcanization rubber specimen deeply.We studied the changing rule of the mechanical properties of the aviation tire rubber material through experiments in this paper, achieving the best vulcanization technological condition for the aviation tire rubber, which reveals the vulcanization mechanism of the tires in the vulcanizing process and provide a microscopic chemical explanation to the changes of mechanical properties. This paper will lay a foundation for the further study on the vulcanization technology and mechanism of the tire rubber materials.
