The human’s health and goods storage are affected directly by indoor humidity, so it is significant to study how to maintain indoor humidity at comfortable range. This article mainly studied how to prepare the ecological tile of high adsorpted moisture content and excellent adsorption-desorption performance.First of all, the chemical composition and physical phase of the raw materials used in experiment were analyzed. The result shows that the chemical composition of the clay exists high Fe2O3 content, which affects the color and decrease the white degree of the tile surface. What’s more, the main chemical compositions of potassium sodium and talc sand are Si O2, Na2 O and Si O2, Mg O respectively. The phase of clay is kaolinite and quartz, the potassium sodium sand is given priority to sodium feldspar, which implies the formula containing this kind of raw material is more suitable for low temperature sintering.Secondly, the effects of the ratio of raw materials and preparation procedure on humidity controlling performance of the ecological tile were studied. It was found that the addition of the diatomite can improve the adsorption-desorption performance of samples, increase the adsorpted content, water adsorption and the porosity of the material, at the same time, the bulk density is reduced. When the addition quantity of the diatomite is 70 g, the adsorpted content, water absorption, porosity, bulk density of the tile is equal to 161.46 g/m2, 30.59%, 42.83% and 1.41 g/cm3 respectively. Eventually, the basic formula of humidity controlling tile is determined via comprehensive consideration. That is the content of diatomite is 60 g, all of the clay addition, including yonghe mud, zhongshan mud, taishan mud and washing mud, is 7.5 g, potassium sodium sand is 15 g, talc sand is 5 g. And then to make preparation procedure orthogonal optimization, the orthogonal experiment results show that all of the sintering temperature, milling time and holding time, especially sintering temperature, have a great influence on the adsorption-desorption performance, the milling time comes second, the holding time is least. At last, the best preparation procedure of humidity controlling tile is that milling time for 10 min, sintering temperature of 1000 ℃, holding time for 30 min. Then the effects of three kinds of pore-forming agent including the starch, sawdust, carbon powder on the adsorption-desorption performance of ecological tile were discussed. The addition of the pore-forming agent can improve the water absorption, however, humidity controlling performance has not been improved significantly. Instead, because of the sediment after pore-forming agent burned in the material can block pore, which decreases the adsorption-desorption performance. Finally, to make ecological tile composition using inorganic salt, simultaneously, the effects of inorganic salt, addition content on adsorption-desorption performance and humidity controlling application were studied. The results show that the tile surface can be loaded with three kinds of inorganic salt(Na Cl, Mg Cl2, Ca Cl2) continuously and evenly, and all of this can improve adsorption-desorption performance. Through comprehensive comparison, the Ca Cl2 composition of tile owns most excellent adsorption-desorption performance. When addition content of Ca Cl2 is 2%, the adsorpted content is up to 757.27 g/m2, desorpted content is 466.66 g/m2, the flexural strength is 14.25 MPa. The application of humidity controlling experiments shows that Ca Cl2 composite tile can maintain air humidity at 40% ~ 70%, which scope is the most comfortable human perception.
