China is one of the country that product a large amount of grapefruit, a lot of grapefruit peel is thrown away by people as waste every year, it not only caused some damage on the environment, but also is a waste of resources. According to some reports, grapefruit peel contains a large amount of nutrients which are essential to human health, such as amino acids, ascorbic acid, β- carotene et al, it also contains a variety of bioactive ingredients such as naringin, hesperidin, neohesperidin and so on. So grapefruit peel has a high nutritional and medicinal value, therefor making full use of such resources, turning it into treasure, this will cause a tremendous of social and economic benefits. Studies have shown that, the main functional constituent in grapefruit peel are Grapefruit flavonoids among which naringin account for about 80%, but on the other hand, the weak solubility in water and grease limitis the widespread application of naringin in every fields. Therefor this paper choose fresh ripe pomelo which is a typical representative of grapefruit in china as raw material, extracting naringin from grapefruit peel, separating and purificating extractions, and then Preparating solid dispersion and lecithin compound so as to improve its solubility in water and grease, at the same time, this kinds of solid dispersion and lecithin compound were characterized in this paper. Now the main results of this paper are reported below:1. This paper use fresh ripe pomelo as raw material, choosing ethanol extraction method extract the naringin from grapefruit peel, adopting orthogonal test method optimized the extraction condition of naringin, the best extraction condition are: extraction temperature 60℃, Extraction time 1h, ethanol concentration 70%, solid- liquid ratio 1:20. The extraction rate of naringin by this way is 32.65mg/g.2. It turned out that D101 macroporous resin is a kind of Ideal resin which is good to separate and purify naringin by Static adsorption and desorption experiments. Its Static adsorption radio is 77.02%, desorption radio is 88.53%. The best separate and purify condition use D101 macroporous resin is: put extraction lipid in directly, 60% ethanol act as eluent, elution flow rate 9ml/min. Them recrystallize the effluent, the purity of this crystalline is 92.44%.3. This paper prepared naringin-PEG6000 solid dispersion, when the radio of naringin and PEG6000 is 1:6, the solubility in water of naringin in this solid dispersion is 12.54mg/ml, the solubility in water is improved greatly compared that of naringin itself which is 0.89mg/ml. At the same time, this paper adopt several Pope analysis methods which are commonly used to characterize this solid dispersion, the results show that, it did not form a new substance, not destruct the original conjugate structure of naringin, not produce a new covalent bonds when they form a solid dispersion, naringin is just dispersed into PEG6000 completely and exist in a amorphous status among PEG6000, combined with PEG6000 by non covalent forces such as hydrogen bonding and van der waals force.4.This paper also prepared naringin- lecithin compound, when the radio of naringin and lecithin is 1:2, the solubility in n-octyl alcohol is 755.50μg/ml which is 222 times than that of naringin itself which shows 3.39μg/ml. At the same time, this paper adopt several Pope analysis methods which are commonly used to characterize this compound, the results show that, it did not form a new substance, not destruct the original conjugate structure of naringin, not produce a new covalent bonds when they form a compound, naringin is just dispersed into lecithin completely and exist in a amorphous status among lecithin, combined with lecithin by non covalent forces such as hydrogen bonding and van der waals force.
