Traditional mode of production for steel are intermittent,single billet rolling,inefficiencies, short equipment life, lower qualified rate, bad stability.Endless rolling is intermediate square billets after rough rolling in the Intermediate roller table connected and continuously rolling by finishing mill,which can improve the quality of the stability of the rolled stock,plate and strip precision and finished product rate,improve productivity,therefore, intermediate billet connection is the key technologies in the endless rolling.The existing intermediate billet induction welding connection method exist the main problem:huge and expensive equipment,long welding time,which is not conducive to the transformation of the existing rolling line.A relatively simple 6-bar and 1-slider mechanism is put forward,which can realize the shearing and extrusion motion of the top and bottom blades with a speed approximately equal to the speed of the metal plates.And conducted research of the agency on the following:First, through the analysis of the endless rolling technology,an intermediate shear extrusion billet connecting mechanism is put forward,the working mechanism of the body is analyzed, the degree of freedom mechanism is calculated. The multibody models of the mechanism are build in ADAMS,the knife of the upper and lower are analyzed.The kinematic equations of the agency are derived based on complex vector method,and force analysis are deduced,Stress analysis of the mechanism, which has laid the foundation for the next optimization.Then,the design variables, constraints and objective function of the mechanism are listed,using Genetic algorithms which included in the toolbox to optimize the mechanism,the optimal size of the agencies is obtained.The average speed on the top of the tip in the horizontal direction by the hysteresis 1.23% to lead 2.32%,the average speed on the underneath of the tip in the horizontal direction by the lead 0.32% to lead 4.28%,the minimum distance between the upper and lower nose into a 16.9mm by 3.99 mm during a connection,the mechanism after improved is more reasonable.Finally,the structure of the mechanism is designed and checked,each specific size of the mechanism determined,a suitable motor, coupling, reducer, brakes, etc are selected,and they are checked and verified.The spindle of the mechanism is drawn though use the finite element platform of Solidworks software, and force analysis are deduced,its stress distribution can be obtained.Thesis research for the intermediate of endless rolling billet connecting devices designed to lay the theoretical foundation.
