Steel is one of essential materials for modern construction materials, the demand of it is huge and it has a huge market. Before use,the steel needs to be cuttded to same length using conventional steel shears,which most of them are low shear precision.If cutting length error exceeded the standard,the steel,used in the manufacture of prefabricated units, will affect its internal force and the quality of engineering. The serious ultra-poor of steel also will case the re-cut of steel, resulting in low productivity and an increase in the amount of useless labor. To solve the precision problem of steel cutting length, this paper carried out the following work:Design of high-precision flying shear.Ttraction rollers are individually driven by a variable frequency motor, The cutting system combined hydraulic clutch and brake to achieve accurate tracking speed and shears scissors positioning stop bars. The design of flying shear laid the foundation for velocity measurements, kinematics analysis and the rearch of precision.It proposes the use of laser doppler velocimetry to replace the traditional program. Firstly traction systems get the effection of difference of roll groove, pressing force, numbers to of traction rollers for steel bar fed; Secondly, the optimal number of pressing force values and roller are seted in the feed traction roller. According to the working process of the laser doppler velocimetry, the steel bar velocity measurements are finished based on Adams, which obtained 1024 velocity measurements.These values were different processed by few ways to obtain the optimal approach.The three-dimensional model of the main components of cutting system are established Adams to get speed parameters and time parameters when the shears, a pair of scissors or three pairs of scissors, are starting to accelerate or decelerating to stopp. These dates provide reference data for precise control of the flying shear. Finally, if you study the actual work, the factors will affect the precision, considering the traction system feeding accuracy, precision of laser doppler velocimetry, time of PLC process data,exchange effection electromagnetic valve.
