Shape Control Research And Application For Aluminum Strip Mill

Since the reform and opening up, the aluminum rolling industry of china has achieved great development, especially in the past ten years, with the rise of packaging, printing, construction, household appliances industry, the requirements for aluminum processing product quality and accuracy are also getting higher and higher, the demand is also growing. In order to achieve high quality and efficient production, modern cold rolling mill is moving in high speed, wide, strong ability to control the direction of development. As early as in the 50’s, designers began to explore how to control the roll of contact state to improve the width of strip shape problems, inventing various forms of the rolling mill.A measure of the modern advanced cold rolling mill equipment level is: 1500-2000 m/min rolling speed, the widest rolling strip is more than 2000 mm, with capability of fast and effective comprehensive plate shape controling. In this paper, with support of with modern six roll aluminum strip cold rolling mill’s design features, with the shape control system, optimal unit configuration, the transmission mode, new manufacturing precision control in advanced equipment, improve the whole performance of the unit. We can realize the automatic flatness control according to roll tilting control system, positive/negative bending control of work rolls, ositive/negative bending control of central rolls and process lubrication system.Using advanced six roll rolling control model, and the optimization of roller balancing device, intermediate roll moving device, lubrication system and hydraulic roll bending system, so as to realize the optimization control of plate shape, and to the spraying technical of rolls. the stability and quality of rolled plate shape rolling can fully meet the design requirements, basically reached the international advanced level.
