With the development of the equipment manufacturing business in our company,various new aluminum processing equipment are emerging,especially for the great change of type and size on rolling mill equipment.For example,the aluminum strip cold mill has a variety of different type from 800 mm to 2300 mm,from four to six rollers.The function of different types of equipment is same,but the actual design is always different,so the requirements of the control program are different.In order to meet the various requirements,we summarize the experience of previous control program and the advantages of foreign advanced control program to complete a set of standard control system for high speed cold mill.The control system of aluminum strip cold rolling mill line is a large and complex control system,and composed of drive control system,production line control system and thickness &profile control system.This control system is mainly applied to control system(auxiliary control system)of four or six roller aluminum strip cold rolling mill;this paper introduces the present situation and characteristics of the high speed control system of cold rolling mill at home and abroad,also the specific requirements of high-speed control system.This paper introduces the cold rolling mill control system's design thinking,design method and design process of the specific program code etc.in details.The modular design is used here and all the subsystems are designed independently so as to improve the system stability and to shorten the development cycle.With reference to object-oriented design concept,the complete control program is developed on the basis of underlying objects so that the level of code reuse can be improved.For HMI,the special maintenance display is designed in order to simplify the maintenance work and shorten the maintenance cycle,also improves the level of automatic control and simplifies the user operation.In order to achieve the object oriented design idea,we categorizes functionally similar or the same object during single equipment design,and then put these objects into a basic underlying function block,assemble the program of each functional equipment by means of the combination and connection of these objects functionblock.This paper mainly introduces the auxiliary pump station,belt wrapper,discharging coil car's detailed design process and the main program code.This system adopts Siemens Step7 classic control software and powerful WinCC monitoring system software,WinCC is integrated in Step7,so the variables and alarm information of control software can be changed to variables of WinCC monitoring system,and the working efficiency can be increased greatly.The monitoring images contain not only the hydraulic pump station operation,lubrication technology,equipment and automatic process monitoring,but also the fault alarm,trend forecasting,report printing and other functions,in such a way the comprehensive monitoring and reliable control of the whole mill systems can be realized.
