Coal Geological Model Visualization And Information Sharing System

Based on the developing of software, hardware and Intemet and the demand ofinformation, a system of Geology Model Visualizing and Information Share in CoalMine is put forward. According to the characters of Geology Object, a method ofcontrolling by control point and drawing by NURBS-surface is brought forward. Basedon Geology data in Coal Mine, Geology Object's data are categorized, analyzed andstored in database, and makes link between them. Data are transferred from database byVRML and Java through JDBC-ODBC Bridge, and they are used to make 3D GeologyModel on net. Relationship is established between information, in order to carry out thequery of Geology Object graph and correlated information. Geology Model visualizingand lnformation Share System is built according to the data of Daxing diggings TiefaCoal Mine in this paper. According to 'WDC-D Geology Metadata Standard (Script)',information of Metadata is built for user on net.
