3D modeling is the most important part and one of the pivotal technologies of virtual reality (VR). Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML), coming from VR, is the best developing tools and technique in 21 century which comprise computer net, multimedia and IA. Under Window XP, the paper makes use of the developed technique and measures, such as on-the-spot survey data, computer 3D physics modeling, the newest developing method Vrml Pad and Visual Basic, Access 2002, develops the mine 3D net_based mapping dynamically and information querying system. The purpose is realizing the mine 3D net_based rendering dynamically and information querying in computer. It is of vital importance to safety mining, miner technology education and mine optimum design and science calculation visualization.Firstly, the paper introduces the function, construction, graphic laws and the realizing measures in Windows of VRML and Vrml Pad, puts forward the modeling method of rendering dynamically and information querying, explains the total design thought of mining system developing soft and framework and each modules.Secondly, using 3D graphic developing tool Vrml Pad for programming VRML design, the paper sets up the methods of 3D graphic design for main shaft, auxiliary shaft, shaft bottom, arch roadway and coal face fully-mechanized coal winning machine. The paper discusses especially technology measures and realizing methods of connecting for mine model scene and database, sets up mine space database for storing mine 3D space data and man-machine graphics interface with combination programming of VRML, VB, Access, designs the automatic simulation for man-machine communicating and mine transport system , realizes the purpose of mine model drawing and updating and navigating dynamically and information querying.
