The problem of deteriorating ecological enivronment and waste of resource caused by solidwaste has not resolved very well.In recent years,the rapid development of economy in ourcountry aggravate this situation.Because of the lack of energy and resource and the deeperunderstand of environment problem,the way to solid waste in developed country has turned toresource recovery which can recover energy and resource from passive treatment.But this study inour country starts only.Zaoyuan is the first model base of green living quarter.It has wide representation in LoessPlateau.The economy in Loess Plateau develops not very fast.Its development base on energyand resource.So resource recovery of solid waste is important to green living quarter aiming atsustainable development From the point to improve the environment of living quarter,in order toaccomplish cyclical use,resource recovery of solid waste is studied on Yan'an and Zaoyuan.Aseries of technology and measures are advanced in this paper.Resource recovery of solid waste in Loess Plateau is studied in this paper.It presents adviceon develpment of town and township enterprises;Ecological agriculture is constructed in LoessPlateau;The matters needing attention and the measures in the application of resource recovery ofsolid waste in Loess Plateau are summarized in the paper.The study on resource recovery of solid waste of Yan'an is most about urban garbage andcity excrement.Urban garbage is collected in classification and part of it is in pay.Callsifiedcollected urban garbage is sanitary landfilled an composted.City excrement is treated byanaerobic fermentation to produce biogas.In order to improve toilet environment,the paperpresents to applicate ecological toilet.According to the field investigation of Zaoyuan,the paper decides to discuss rural crop strawand house waste particularly.Rural crop straw is into soil,ensilaged and ammoniated.The paperpresents to construct courtyard ecological agriculture and utilize comprehensively with biogastechnology.Some useful waste is recovered from rural house waste.The remaining is composted.
