In this paper,hydrolysisacidrogenesis-aerobic process was used to treat chinese alpine rush pulping wastewater. Expanding bed and biological fluidized bed were taken as equipments for hydrolysisacidrogenesis stage and aerobic stage respectively. The study showed that: hydraulic retention time and volume loading had greater effect on hydrolysisacidrogenesis stage than other factors; hydraulic retention time, volume loading, temperature and pH value had greater effect on aerobic stage.than other factors. In this experiment,, the optimum operating conditions were as follows: at hydrolysisacidrogenesis stage, the hydraulic retention time was 8 hours, the volume loading was 1 .5KgIm3.d; at the aerobic stage ,the hydraulic retention time was 10 hours, the volume loading was 0.65KgCODcr/m3.d,the appropriate temperature was 20-300C,the pH value was 7-7.5,the CODEr value of inflow was I 0000mgIL or so ,the CQDc~ value of outflow was about 1 000mgIL. The removal of CODEr for the two stages were 45% and 80% respectively, the BOD5ICODcr value was reduced to less than 0.3 from 0.5 or so, the SS value of effluent was 4% or so. All these made it possible for the final outflow to satisfy the Paper-making Wastewater Emission Standard after flocculation and activated carbon absorpition. At the same time ,some problems in the experiment were discussed and future research directions were pointed out.
