The paper has reviewed the progress on the research of inorganic antibacterial. The current development of antibacterial fabric has been reconsidered. It puts emphasis on the antibacterial mechanism of inorganic antibacterial, and puts forward a new technic named "direct-precipitate method". Firstly, antibacterial mechanism and antibacterial performance test of inorganic antibacterial are introduced; Secondly, monofactor method and multifactor orthogonalizing design method are applied to get the optimum processing conditions in preparation of antibacterial H-01, Finally, the newly developed antibacterial fabric is made with antibacterial H-01.The following have been obtained through lots of experiments.1. The optimum processing conditions in preparation of nanometer antibacterial H-01: the ratio of Ag2O to TiO2 is 2%; the reaction pH is about 7.0; the reaction temperature is 50 癈; the precipitant is added at the speed of one drop every ten seconds; the digestion time is l.Ohr; the calcination temperature is 400癈; the average diameter of the antibacterial H-01 under the above condition is 50nm.2. When the concentration is lOOppm, the antibacterial H-01 has a 99% kill of pathogenic bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans etc. within 5 minutes.3. Antibacterial fabric made with antibacterial H-01 are excellently antibiotic against the bacteria mentioned above and fairly wash fast. After washed ten times the rate of disinfectant (RD) is 80%.
