With the rapid development of bio-molecular science, especialy of the cytobiology, the function of sugar in many biology is continently found and recognized. The study of sugar drew interests.Aloe has the function of medicine, Recently there is also a rush in it. Many of the iatric function of Aloe have something to do with structure and properties with polysaccharides.In this thesis, for the first time we treat with Aloe barbadensis Miller, we obtain the polysaccharides by abrstraction from it by hot water.Pecipated by alcohel of different concentration we get four kinds of components: PI, P2, P3, P4. We puried P2 and P4 further to study it's struction and properties as follows:The contents P2 and P4 of polysaccharides measured by spectrophotometric evaluation is 90.3%, 70.2%respectively. profein content of P2 is 6%, P4 is 21.7%.measured with Keys fix quantify of nitrogen, abtained polysaccharides are completely hydrolyzed catalysed by acid.To have the bond of indican broken entirely and get the contents of sugar , measured by TLC ;The construction of the sugar are obtained by alditol acetates and trimethysilylation derivative method and determined by GC-MS. P2 are mainly made up by glucose and manna by 1.3:1 in molar. P4 is mainly made up by mannose.The sugar are all in P comformernation characterized by Infrared Ray (IR) , High Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (HNMR) , polarimeter and so on. P4 is partialy acetylatyd in 2, 3 , With the refined method of Hakomori, the contents P2 and P4 of polysaccharides are partialy methylated and partialy ethylated.the mode of link of are determined by the reserve time of their coresponding GC-MS. P2 and P4 are both mainly 1 ?4 linked, the link of indican and other branchation are further determined by periodate oxidation method and analysis of Smith degradation. It comes out that they are all 1 - 4 linked with little branches.To sum up, we successfully determined the structure of P2 and P4 bychemical method and apparatus analysis such as Infrared Ray (IR) , High Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (HNMR) , GC-MS etc. The outcome indicates that the struture of P2 content of Aloe barbadensis is :- P - D - GIup - (1 ?4) - [ -D- Manp - ](1 4) - P - D - Glup -Glup the struture of P4 content of Aloe barbadensis is :- - D - Manp-(1 4)-[ P D - Manp- ] (1 - 4) - P -D-Manp-2.3 OAc...
