The bi-wheel conclad machine is developed to the technical research and development of multi-metal conclad. It not only provides an experiment platform for the study of multi-metal concladding but also is the main machine of pre-industrializes processes, and fills in the gaps in the domestic fields.The theoretical analysis and the experimental result of CONCLAD process which is on the basis of MBE(multi-billet extrusion),CONFORM(continuous forming),EXTROLLING(extrusion and rolling) and the successful manufacturer experience of one-wheel CONCLAD main machine are applied to the design of bi-wheel CONCLAD machine. Software for the calculation of extrusion process paramagnets is developed. It solves the problem in the calculation of extrusion process parametric, and applies a theoretical calculation tool for further development of CONFORM machine.Some conclusions are obtained:1. The crosswise stiffness of main axle in the machine is improved for about 6 times than common main axle, through using pre-stress main axle.2. The safe coefficient of main machine frame can reach more than 40.3. Through the calculation of extrusion process paraments the range of metal cladding in this machine is:Al, Al alloy, copper, brass, Al bronze, Al-Zn alloy and other non-ferrous metals.
