Copper-aluminum composite materials with excellent performance of copper and aluminum excellent performance,it is a more advanced composite materials,and widely instead of a single copper and aluminum metal in many practical applications.Now,preparation technology about Copper-aluminum composite materials is also constantly research and development.According to different product specifications and performance requirements,different preparation methods could achieve.Now,rolling composite,immersion composite method and casting composite method is the preferred method to manufacture copper-aluminum composite material.The interface of the strength is usually a biggest problem in the actual processing application of copper and aluminum composite materials.Due to the backwardness of the preparation process,the quality of the prepared copper-aluminum composite material is poor,and the interface and the crack may be mixed with cracks.The defects such as misalignment,inclusions and inclusions will reduce the strength of the material.In the practical application,because of the environment,the service status of materials,installation process and other factors,the product will be fracture.On the market,the copper and aluminum composite materials can be divided into two types currently:interface-open and interface-closed.The interface-closed composite material is mainly copper and aluminum coated products.The interface-open copper-aluminum composite materials are layered composite materials and lateral composite composite materials.The preparation method of the layered composite material is mainly cold rolling compound,and the two kinds of metals are formed by the subsequent heat treatment,and the metallurgical bonding is formed,and the composite strength has been optimized.Because of its different composite mechanism from the lateral composite materials,there are few related studies on it at present.The solid-solid composite method like explosion composite is dangerous in the compound production process,and the cold-rolling compound is suitable for the composite of the layered composites.In this paper,a new type of copper-aluminum composite material was fabricated by using a new technique.It is Conclad continuous extrusion technique.With the continuous extrusion method,at the extrusion temperature of 500 ?,the interface strength,and the flatness of the lateral composite copper-aluminum composite material is good.The diffusion interface thickness is 93 ?m.And then we analyzed its microstructure and properties.It was found that the regions with higher hardness were in the vicinity of the interface layer,and the tensile strength was 48 Mpa.The interface consisted of copper matrix,aluminum matrix and Cu-Al intermediate compounds,Cu9Al4,CuAl and CuAl2.The metal intermediate compounds are distributed at the junctions from copper to aluminum in the transverse direction.The samples of the lateral composite copper-aluminum composite prepared by the continuous extrusion method were subjected to annealing at different temperatures and holding time.The tensile strength was measured by tensile shear test.The microstructures were analyzed by metallographic microscope and energy spectrum.The interface between copper and aluminum was investigated under different annealing conditions,and the bonding strength of Cu-Al interface was analyzed under different rolling conditions.The results show that the width of the interface bonding layer is positively correlated with the temperature and the holding time of the heat treatment.With the increase of the width of the composite interface,the bonding strength of the interface increases first and then decreases.The bonding strength of the copper-aluminum composite material is the highest at 400 ?.Ability,it can carry out at the follow-up shaping processing.
