Inorder to adapt our country's electrified railway development,the research team design a new electrified railway contact lead,Copper-Aluminum contact lead, produced by CONCLAD with higher strength,electivity and wear resistanee.The contact lead is a multi metals cladding wires with superior performance of those metals which can become the high performance material and economize the metal.Be different from the traditional CONCLAD,the Copper-Aluminum contact lead is layer structure clad,and since the particularity with deformed course,the research of its metal deformed behavior as well as the study to plastieity deformation mechanics,is still in elementary stage. The dissertation is on the basis of the analysis of the theory and FEM for the double-material CONCLAD processing,which has simulated the temperature field,effective stress field,effeetive strain field,mean stress field,and velocity field under condition of the various parameters,by which the rules that can realize the rapid design for the dies are got.The results show that the CONCLAD is a complex process, the die angle and height of clad forming zone is a key parameter to the design of die.The increase of the die angle and height of clad forming zone will result in blockage of die.The decrease of the die angle and height will result in joint surface is not firmly even with gap.Inereasing extrusion veloeity and increase temperature,which be beneficial to the cladding.In the view of the three dimensions FEA,the stress and strain centralize block channel,die cavity,height of clad forming zone,and the dead zone is formed in the bottom cladding chamber.This paper revealed the influence rules of die structure during Copper-Aluminum continuous forming process,all received results show the true facts. These results can become the references of the future mold design,and have certain guidance role for CONCLAD project practiee.
