The iron tower for transporting electricity is an important structure equipment in the system of electric power. Because the iron tower is thin shell steel structure and located in complicated surroundings, specially, in weighting acidic rain environment of Chongqing, the iron tower will be corroded. In application, it is need of excellent adapting performance and long life-span to avoid effecting from environment corrosion to make the iron tower be destroyed and product solid waste material. If the towers are corroded, they will directly destroy the reliability and safety of the system in transporting electricity. Therefore the study on corrosion and anticorrosion technology has become one of the important issues in electric power department. Furthermore, the air is very seriously polluted in Chongqing, especially the thick concentration of SOa. After all, the carbon steel as a main material of the tower has poor performance of anticorrosion; Corroded by the acid rain or acid deposit for a long time in Chongqing, and maintain cycle is shortened, so it is very significant to solve problem of the anticorrosion of iron tower.Now the main method of anticorrosion for the tower is mainly coating protection. When the general antirust coatings cover metal surface, they usually form a piece of thick coatings, and separate the steel from surroundings, prevent the corrosion processing. In order to assure the using life span, it is avoided for the tower to be deformed or serious corroded. The tower galvanized is usually checked all-around within 3~5 years; the tower painted is generally painted again within 3~5 years. The time for maintenance is so short that the price is too high and process is too complicated. This task is mainly to meet the anticorrosion demand for great steel or iron component outdoors, to develop new antirust product-rust transformation agent, the anticorrosion mechanism of which is different to others. It has wetting and penetrating effect on rust, separates and closes rust in rust transformation agent, synchronously the matter reacts with rust, makes rust transform into a part of anticorrosion layer, accordingly prevents the rust developing. Furthermore, the membrane formed will separate the material from surroundings, thus prevents corrosion. Thereby the maintain cycle of the tower will be prolonged, the anticorrosion performance become well. Thus this task has significant theoretical significance and practical value.The work involved in this thesis is carried out for three stages: First, little samples experimentation in lab, looking for the proper formula. A lot of different formulas aretried in lab scale (the samples are rust A3 steel pieces). Then we select the suitable penetrating matter; rust transforming matter, forming membrane resin and so on. Five different formulas have been successfully selected.Second, the accelerating experiments in lab have been carried out. According to the feature of air in Chongqing and GB-6458-86, the neutral salt-mist (NSS) experimentation has been put up, and associating with the two common methods-weight and eyeballing to value the experimental result. Then the two best formulas-zn-1 rust transformation agent and zn-2 -rust transformation agent have been selected from the five.Third, experiments in spot have been put up according to GB-1767-79. The spot for coating experiment has been selected at electricity transportation place in Chuanwei plant, Zhujiaba, Changshou county in Chongqing, where the air is seriously polluted. We have take photos in regulated intervals and compared them. The standard cycle is once for taking photo and compared every month within the first half year, then once each three months. It has been evaluated according to GB-1777-79. At the same time, we go on the salt-mist experimentation and AC-impedance experimentation in lab, continue developing the anticorrosion effect of these products.
