It reduces the workers' labor intensity , and brings considerable economy profits to us too. Especially people can run it in a scientific and modern way.But with the development of technology , the change of market, and the advancement of production architecture system, the drawbacks of closed architecture NC are discovered increasingly. It is required to have the ability to reconstruct function modules quickly and exactly. This leads to the appearance of open NC system. The estimation of design for NC - opening is to establish open architecture, build an open platform for configuration and development to meet different requirement.The open - architecture CNC (Computer Numeric Control) system is one of the developing trends of NC technology .The open CNC system consists of open -architecture hardware and software. An open - architecture hardware system is mainly made up of a PC (Personal Computer ) or IPC (Industry PC ), a position control unit, a speed control unit and an embedded PLC. An open - architecture software system means that CNC software is separated into some function modules with standard interfaces. These function modules will work coordinately.The PMAC - based CNC discussed by this paper is a real time and multitask system under Windows operating system. Not only it can deal with the real time task, but also it can complete the ordinary task which has no requirements for immediate response. It is provided with both the current and the special functions, so the structure of closed architecture CNC which consists of current CNC and PC is predigested. If necessary, The CNC developer and the customer can increase or decrease the function modules according to their requirements, and bring their technologies , experiences and skills into the open CNC . Now, it has been basically completed and verified in the CNC screw - grinding tool.With research in this paper, it is strongly proved that The PMAC - based CNC achieves satisfactory control precision, reliability and maneuverability. This research provides a new method for us to produce CNC machine tool, and has the application value. |
