Yunnan Xinping Red Hill Iron Ore Mine Soil Erosion Prediction And Prevention Planning

Soil and water loss is one of the entironment problems which we are confronted with. It destroy water and soil resource and make tillable field barren increasingly and result in our environment worsening, furthermore it endanger people s life and wealth security and restrict the development of economy and society.Dahongshan iron ore, the biggest building mine of yunnan province, locating in jasa town xinping county yunnan province, is the dominating ironstone base of the kungang company in the future. This study chose the dahongshan mine which has very important significance to the developing of yunnan iron and steel industry as our work station in which we build six runoff plots according to loss type and chose three place to earth up to observe the rule of the soil moving on the mullock stone and study the eroding rule of the barren side slope with eroding nail experiment.After one rainy season s observation, using three different ways (observing results, the soil classifying and classing standard and the universal soil loss equation) calculate the general loss volume in the sustain of 3S technology and using USLE forecast the loss volume of mine after 50 year exploiting with cell. The calculating results of the loss volume by three ways are 1467.63t, 56320t, 56536.71t and the average loss modulus are 172.46t/km2 a, 6618.10 t/km2 a, 6730.56 t/km2 a. the forecasting loss volumes are 57603.74t(no land reclamation) and 57076.33t(resuming the capital construction mullock and nanbu mullock) and the forecasting average loss modulus are 7076.63 t/km2 a (no land reclamation) and 57076.33 t/km2 a (resuming the capital construction mullock and nanbu mullock).By calculation and forecast, the soil loss rule of original physiognomy show a current: yunnan pine soil loss< lawn soil loss < mango soil loss bare natural side-slope soil loss > mullock field covering earth soil loss > artificial side-slope soil loss ?original physiognomy soil loss. Land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation for area of mining can greatly reduce soil loss.In the base of calculation and forecast, the primary planning to preventing the water and soil loss of dahongshan iron ore is gained which mark out the trend of ground using and measures and approach of land reclamation and vegetation rehabilitation of mining field ,which gives some reference and advice for making water and soil conservation project and preventing and curing water and soil loss.
