Goat with a thin layer of metal, for example Ni-Fe Ni-P and Ni, by electroplating and chemical plating on the matrix copper T2 and silicon steel DW310-35 to prepare composite materials. Some composite-materials have been heat treated by the vacuum heat treatment oven. Because these are conductor material, they can get high electro-magnetic shielding efficiency at high frequency. In order to get high magnetic shielding efficiency at low frequency, improve permeability is the most important thing. Some experiments, for example composition, electric conductance, permeability, X-ray diffraction, the binding strength and the magnetic shielding efficiency at low frequency have been carried through. The composite materials have high binding strength. Coating the copper and silicon steel with Ni-Fe and Ni-P alloy can improve the magnetic shielding efficiency at low frequency. At 50Hz, the magnetic shielding efficiency of silicon steel electroplated with Ni-P goes above silicon steel by 10%. Changing the chemical composition of the Ni-Fe alloy and adopting some appropriate heat treatments can improve the magnetic shielding efficiency at low frequency. At 50Hz, the magnetic shielding efficiency of silicon steel electroplated with Ni-Fe (heat treated) is over 30dB and goes above silicon steel by 20-30%.
