In twenty-first Century, with the development of the oil industry and the drilling technology, lead to a higher accuracy requirement of seamless pipe production. This paper mainly focus on the key equipment of a seamless oil pipe production line that is a six stand three roll continues mill unit, with a retained mandrel rolling technology, this mill unit can produce higher precision of finished products.The Precision of seamless pipe have two aspects, diameter precision and wall thickness accuracy, during the producing process of seamless pipe, outer diameter precision is mainly controlled by the sizing mill, the wall thickness accuracy is guaranteed by the pipe mill unit, and the key of the wall thickness accuracy in continuous pipe mill unit is to control rolling gap precision.Using the micro aligning telescope as a measuring tool to measuring the position accuracy of the six stand, through adjusting the frame horizontal and vertical positioning slide to ensure the center point of the stand six in a straight line with a maximum distance deviation less than 0.05 mm.Use a special designed roller height measuring equipment to conduct the adjustment of the gasket. By the means of standard stand calibrate the servo cylinder to ensure the three rollers' relative position accuracy of one stand within the range of 0-0.04 mm;Use computer simulation method to reveal the deformation pattern, through the experiment method to obtain the numerical value of stiffness coefficient of all the rolling parts. Improve the roll gap dynamic accuracy by adjusting the bounce compensation.
