Aluminum is good-quality non-ferreous material, which is applied in many fields. China consumes much aluminum every year. Potential aluminum market is developing, trans-normal roll-casting technology is a newly important way of aluminum processing, which is little-investment, short-flow and economical. Because the research of trans-normal roll-casting technology is in experimental period, the principle of trans-normal roll-casting technology is accepted by all. Sampling and monitoring all kinds of processing parameter, force parameter and electric parameter accurately, quickly is important to research the principle of trans-normal roll-casting technology. This paper research on trans-normal roll-casting on-line monitoring system, the main job is as follow:1 This paper construct blue print of trans-normal roll-casting on-line monitoring system. The system is a master-slave distributed system, the master computer is industry personal computer, the slave computer is single-chip microcomputer. This paper designed the software and hardware of the slave computer. The communication standard is RS-232 standard. We designed the communication protocol and communication system and developed monitoring software. All kinds of parameter is visually monitored.2 Because there is strong electromagnetism disturb in the trans-normal roll-casting produce field, the paper research the cause of formation of disturb and bring forward the software and hardware measure of restrain disturb. The reliability of the system is enhanced.3 According to the running of the monitoring system, we discussed the relation of between the parameters so that we can provide proofs and data for the best matching of the parameters.4 The paper researched some theory about trans-normal roll-casting on-line monitoring system, including sensor marking error analyzing and disposing and relation analyzing, then set up indirect mathematics model to monitor forceparameter using linear fitting method.The monitoring system integrate sensor technology computer technology and instrument technology. It is automation technology applying in material manufacture field. Realization of the system provide precise scientific and reliable data for studying trans-normal roll-casting technology which is multi-physics coupling process. The design and realization of trans-normal roll-casting on-line monitoring system is benefit for trans-normal roll-casting automation. It can accelerate the research of the trans-normal roll-casting technology.
