In this paper, a study has been made on the technics route and running status of the treatment project of wastewater from Erdos Cashmere Group, that is a demonstration item of Nation Project Committee. After an analysis of the problems in the system, we suggested feasible advice for amelioration by spot tests.We analyzed the characteristics of the wastewater from Erdos Cashmere Group, composed of wool scouring wastewater and printing and dyeing wastewater, and selected the biological treatment technics of fultative contact hydrolysis-contact oxidation. At the same time, technics and equipment parameters of all technics units were ascertained.In almost ten months from Dec. 2003 to Feb. 2004, the system run in gear. The CODCr of outflow was about 100mg/L, the effluent BOD5 was less than 30mg/L, and the average removing rate of CODCr and BOD5 reached 80% and 87% respectively. The effluent SS was 33.72mg/L, and the effluent chroma was 64 units.Various influencing factors against the system running status were reviewed, and the results showed that the temperature and pH were steady correspondingly and had a weak influence upon the system treatment effect, the effluent CODCr and the removing rate of CODCr rose with the increase of influent CODCr, the removing rate of CODCr rose with the increase of DO, there was a good treatment effect of fultative system when the amount of active bacterium and zoogloeae was large, the effluent waterquality was good when the vorticella and the rotifer appeared, when the sulfid content in the outflow of fultative system was high, the DO of contact oxidation system would descended, and the effluent waterquality would deteriorate.According to the running data of contact oxidation system, we ascertained the kinetic model, that reflects the kinetic relation between the removing rate and concentration of organic contamination.The coagulating sedimentation orthogonal experiment and the decolorization test with NaClO were made, that supplied the reference aiming at resolving the problems of high sulfid content in the outflow of fultative system, large undulation of the effluent CODCr, and high effluent chroma.The system running result showed that the treatment on the mixed wastewaterconsisting of wool scouring wastewater and printing and dyeing wastewater by the technics of fultative contact hydrolysis- contact oxidation was feasible, that will has demonstrating significance for the treatment on congeneric wastewater.
