Now sulfur dioxide pollution has become a common phenomenon in China, so it's no time to delay to control and treat SO2 pollution. But because of its high investment operation fee et al, flue gas desulphurization technique is not suitable for the development country to take. In this article study a economical and effective biotrickling reactors flue gas desulphurization techniques is described aimed at the SO2 pollution of our country and the low concentration of SO2 desulphurization in flue gas. The biotrickling reactors flue gas desulphurization technique has bring extensive because its simple technique and manipulation low investment operation and maintenance fee and decease SO2 pollution efficiently.First, we study the fostering, separation and characteristic of Thiobacillus ferroxidans. The results shows the Thiobacillus ferroxidans grow very well and have more high oxidans when the temperature is 30℃ or so, the pH value of the substrate is controlled at 2.0.This paper systematically studies the influence of the process conditions, such as SO2 concentration in flue gas, Inlet gas flow, Runtime, Liquid-to-gas ratio, Fe3+concentration, pH value and SO42 ~ concentration on desulfurization efficiency are studied. Additionally the influence of all sorts of packing materials on efficiency of desulphurization is also discussed. The result of experiments shows: This method is more effective (>97.5%)for the treatment of SO2 concentration of 0.5~4.0 X 103mg/m3 in flue gas. The best effects of eliminating SO2 will be gained when the inlet gas quantity of flow is 2.50m3/h,the Liquid-to-gas ratio is 13.5L/m3, the Fe3+concentration is 0.8g/L, the pH value is 2.0, the concentration of SO42 in the spray liquid is below 18g/L. desulfurization efficiency decreases obviously after system runs for 80 days because Fe3+ becomes jarosite on the surface of packing materials.
