The Pdc Bit And Rock Each Other The Role Of Computer Simulation Of The Process

PDC bit mechanics analysis is the foundation of the working performance prediction and analysis of the bit. Up to now, the theory research work of cutting ' mechanics of PDC bit at home is under ideal work condition suppose that the bit does not revolve round the center of the well hole, namely the center of bit is coincident to the center of the center of the well hole. At the same time, the effect of cutter side on the cutting force was neglected. Therefore, the cutting mechanics analysis result is heavy deviation to the actual result.My article breaks through the restriction of the moving condition and the cutting structure of PDC bit in traditional theory analytical method, and makes use of computer simulation technology to imitate the actual drilling process under the partial movement condition. The main research contents include: the computer simulation mathematics model under the partial movement condition was set up. At the same time, the digitized methods of PDC bit and bottom hole and borehole wall was researched, on the base of the above, the relation that the work surface of fictitious cutter of bit with bottom hole and borehole wall interaction was found, and the computing formulas of exposing area and cutting area were derived. Meanwhile, the cutter side with rock interaction was analyzed and the formulas of its contacting area and cutting area were derived. All the theoretical achievement was built into a simulation and analysis software.The Analytical method and analysis software built are not merely suitable for routine cutting structure of PDC bit but also suitable for the typical auxiliary cutting structure, such as repeating cutter (namely with rail cutter) and reserve cutter, etc, too.Because the work condition of the fictitious bit in the simulation system and true condition of bit are very close, the analysis result is more close, therefore the simulation analysis has higher science and credibility, and it is a good foundation for launch PDC bit working load analysis and wear and tear analysis in the future.
