Metalforming machinery is the typical application of hydraulic technology. Recent years, with the rapid development of electronic and microchip-control technology, metalforming machinery also grows to intelligentized way.In the thesis, the computer monitoring and control system is investigated based on IPC, which can collect and analyze the information of metalforming machine and achieve the control for rate, pressure and travel. Firstly, the current status and development tendency of metalforming machinery in domestic and abroad are investigated. According to the requirements of control system, it is indispensable to research the configuration and working principle of the metalforming machine. Electro-hydraulic proportional control technique is further studied. Then, the function of the control system is analyzed, and the structure of the control system is designed. Development of the IPC interface is based on Ya Kong Kingview software. With a view to special instance of working scene, communication system between PLC and IPC needs to be configured specially. At the end of the thesis, digital simulation technology of the hydraulic system is studied. In the base of simplified hydraulic system, mathematics model of hydraulic system is given in express of equation group, and dynamic models which suit to computer solve are established with the use of software package Simulink, the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic system are studied.
