In organic synthesis, the oxidation of alkane hydrocarbon is a very important means. In biochemistry, it is more paid attention. There have many ways of the oxidant of alkane hydrocarbon, but most of them need heat, pressure,and they get many functions. Another, many oxidant system follow free radiacl mechanism, so the oxidation outcome is not ketone but alcohol.In pass by of several decades, some catalyst systems are adoptioned to developed the oxidant of the alkane hydrocarbon. Though people have studied these systems deeply, the oxidant rate is very low(3~20%). So we oxidized 3-carene which is adaptioned to synthize the agrochemical--(-)-cis-caronaldehydic acid or (-)-cis-caronaldehydic hemiacetal to investigate the allylic oxygenation. Namely, we oxidize 3~carene to 3-carene-5-one by t-butyl chromate oxidant and Gif system. In our experiment, we synthized the aimed product, purified it and find a perfect analytical way. We also improve the experimental condition.In this paper, We have oxidized car-3-ene to car-3-en-5-one by two wanys-— Chromic anhydride- t-butyl alcohol and Gif system. We established the methods to separate, analyze and purify the product. And this work can improve the synthesized method. We also know of the key affected factors in the reactions, so we found the best synthesized method and improve the rate of the product and inquired into mechanism of the two oxidant methods.
