Internal thread tapping is one of the most important steps in th procedure of machining. With the development of the modern machinin technology, it has became a weak point in the procedure. This thesis pape discussed the traditional methodology of Internal thread tapping as wel as vibration tapping. We found that the problems exiting in tht methodology is: being hard to conquering abrasion dynamic load in tht process of thread tapping, thread breakings block, abrasion and the bac quality of the procedure.This thesis make it clear that the innovation of the methodology of thread tapping is an innovational mould being affected by both the technological development and the needing, through the researching of the concept, principle kind and the methodology of the technological innovation, and the characteristic of thread tapping. Combined with the characteristic, the thesis not only discussed acompletely new idea of Internal thread tapping---- the idea of impacttapping, which is to transfer the dynamic energy to thread tapping energy, by using an innovative idea as well as a methodology of modern design and an innovative mechanical design, but also does a research for this new methodology of Internal thread tapping.The system of impact tapping impact tapping is consisted of crank—block mechanism and the tapping unit. And the latter,transfers the line movement of hammer to revolution of thread The process of impact could gather a huge power and transfer it into thread within a limited time, so the system of impact tapping could adapt to the dynamic load during the process of thread tapping. According to all kinds of the mechanical characteristics of the mechanic design, this thesis has done a research in the mechanism design of impact tapping.A circulation of impact tapping could be divided into four steps: the step of hollow travel, of cushion, of tapping , and of return.This paper simplifies the system of impact tapping under the innovative design in a proper way, and set up a simplified physical mouldof the system. Under the direction of optimal design theory, this paper sets the proper aim function, settled the restriction variable, and organizes the optimal design program, and gets the optimum by optimal design the impact system on the compute. In order to rationalize thestructure of the tapping unit----the tapping setting,the research takesgood advantage of the theory of finite element method and the ANSYS analyzing software to simply block creating model the main spares of the setting. At last, after the late dealing the stress and stressing picture of dealing the structure could be gotten, and the structure will be more reliable and more suitable for working through the analysis to the fact. The researching result has a directory affect on improving and perfecting the technology and the methodology of the impact tapping. Through the optimal to the system and analysis the structure of spares, a much more appropriate systematical parameter and the structure scale could be gotten for a more exact basis of the future experimental process.
